Herrlich ehrlich - this is our very own philosophy since more than 200 years. What it means? We're convinced that the best quality and natural taste are indeed a natural course of action, at least if you take care of important necessaries: best quality meat from Austria, natural ingredients, a lot of time to mature and most of all a lot of love and enthusiasm for our trade, the production of ham, tyrolean bacon and sausages. That's why our Original Kitzbüheler specialities are more than just delicious, they are herrlich ehrlich.
If you want to produce delicious products with an outstanding quality, you have to use ingredients with at least the same quality. That's why we have the most picky employees sitting in the receiving department. For our Tyrolean bacon, ham und raw sausages we only use Austrian meat with the best quality and natural ingredients. Therefore our suppliers have to keep a lot of guidlines so that we can be sure to only work with best ingredients.
By the way: Working on such delicious products means to bring a lot of time. A lot of steps in our working process are just sitting, waiting, wishing. Only if you give your products the time to rest and mature they will develop the taste you expect. That's why our Original Kitzbüheler Schinkenspeck for example rests for more than 4 months in our aging room, before our costumers can enjoy it.
Natural taste is quite important for us. That's why we use fresh ingredients, natural herbs and the best spices. But probably the best thing about our Original Kitzbüheler specialities is the pure, fresh air here in the middle of the mountains in Kitzbühel, which gives our products the most natural final touch. And the icing on the cake: Most of our products are free of allergens. Sounds good, tastes better.
Our Butchery is part of Kitzbühel's history like the Big Ben in London or the White House in the US. Although the Butchery Huber is today a family-run business with more than 70 employees and you can also buy our products in Germany or the rest of Austria, we're still - and first of all - a Butchery in Kitzbühel. We're proud that we can produce our Tyrolean bacon, ham and raw sausages in this beautiful surounding and we're quite sure that you can taste that as well. Therefore it is important for us to support our local farmers, hunters and also a lot of social projects around our city.
If we talk about our daily work we'd like to call it a traditional trade. Of course we have the most modern technical equipment in our manufacturing building; however the most important steps during the working process only work with manpower. Therefore we salt our Tyrolean bacon manual, we knot our ham manual and we pack our delicious presents manual. These are only a view examples to show you that the most important persons in our company are still our butchers.
